Healing Journeys with Suzie Daggett

I have found that practitioners who are doing deep healing work have had a transformative experience causing them to change in an instant and become more of their spiritual essence, taking direction, guidance and teachings from spirit. This is true for Sheryl Jai who is a Reiki Master, Melchizedek Priestess, and a Shaman who facilitates people on journeys in the body to release cellular emotional and physical pain. Her life and work is dedicated to one arena – to help people be free of pain and be their True Self. She believes the way you think of yourself is your reality. Her personal philosophy is that “there is really not a me – yes, there is my physical body, ego and mind, but, in my work and life, I am you and you are me. My deep love and guidance is to empower people to live their true self.”

What was the impetus for this life work?
I had been on a spiritual journey for many years, however, the Harmonic Convergence in 1987 was a real awakening for me. That powerful meeting of 200 people creating one single vision - world peace - shook me to my core. I realized that my life changed that very year. I found I was very affected by the energy around me, something I knew nothing about. I always had a very deep connection to God, yet I did not have a practice. That changed when I was ordained a Melchizedek Priestess – Melchizedek was a teacher of Christ. The basis of the teaching is to spread love and harmony as your internal core then to radiate that energy outward. Being a Priestess is a cellular practice, where one studies to know oneself as deeply as possible. Then, in 1997, I fell off a 50-foot cliff. As I was falling, I felt fully awake as I was laid down by the hands of God.

How did the accident change you?
I landed on the rocks, on my back – I knew I was hurt, and, I had a near death experience. When I came back, I was different, I was still me, but I was feeling and speaking differently. In that moment, I said aloud, “I choose to have this experience with ease and grace and joy”. My friend ran to be by my side, heard me say this and added, “surrender to the experience” – this was very powerful, as we did not let the fearful nature of others penetrate our energy. I felt Dolphins swimming around me, healing my broken bones, fixing and repairing internal injuries. The softest organs were repaired first (they have a finer vibration than bones or muscles) - I could see the smallest cell, atom and molecule in my body and each repair was made as in my imagination, the Dolphins touched my body. I had 22 broken bones, yet I left the hospital in three days with 13 broken bones, I was only on morphine for 12 hours and then, I did not take other pain medication as it interfered with the healing energy of God. More information can be found in my e-book, 50 Feet in 4 Seconds: A True Story of A Leap Into Consciousness and Ultimate Health.

Tell us a bit about Shamanic Journeys – how can it help someone?
Shamanic Journeying helps with emotional release of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual imbalances. I work with sacred guidance, honoring your highest divine self to guide you to learn about your pain and anger. Then, I facilitate you to heal them so you can be free to be your true self. Your cells hold beliefs and memory so this process gives the cells new voice that is created from one’s own spiritual essence. People can change pain and disease quickly from this process. What you think of yourself is your reality. If you think you are fat, skinny, old, beautiful, that is the way you see yourself. And, even if you try not to think you are fat, you are fat, because that is what you are in essence saying. The Universe does not hear or understand the words “not and no”, everything in the Universe is a yes – so if you say I am not fat, what the Universe hears is, I am fat. Instead, saying I am thin, beautiful, healthy, etc. are positive methods to align yourself with the your true self and the Universe.

What is the most powerful work you like to do?
Right now, emotions are extremely out of balance and I believe that shamanic journeying and emotional release inside the body is the most powerful work. This means taking old cellular beliefs and changing them, creating them as brand new beliefs. For instance, if the trigger in your relationship with your sister is that she is a nag, and you remove the charge of irritation in your body that is connected to your sister, recreate it by putting in a new picture with love, the old cellular memory and trigger can disappear. When your sister says things to you that used to bother you, they do not irritate you any longer. If you continue to do this over time, the belief system builds in the true self – this is the core of my work – to accept thyself and know who you are. God asked me to teach this after I fell off the mountain.
