Healing Journeys with Suzie Daggett
Suzie interviewed Nancy Portillo and Francie Marie, who work with Angels and angelic energy. Nancy, a Rainbow Reiki practitioner brings in angel blessings and messages in sessions with her clients. Francie, an Angel Therapist Practitioner trained by Doreen Virtue PhD, combines clairvoyance and Oracle Cards in her Angel readings. Angels are considered a gift from God and everyone has one or more. Angels feel their purpose is to serve humans to be closer to God. Many people have stories of inspiration from angelic visions or information that has served them to grow spiritually. The TV show, It’s A Miracle often tells of encounters with angels or people who act in angelic form. Having a angel reading or blessing often can help someone in their healing process, as well as feeling a depth of love that surrounds us at all times. I asked Nancy and Francie to help us understand a bit about the work they do with Angels and what the Angels want us to know.

I have always loved Angels and the idea of Angels since I was very small. I experienced deep peace and release of fear when I would call on help from God during very difficult periods of my young life and have come to understand that “help” is delivered by Angels. One description of an Angel is “Messenger”; they are the assistants to the Creator. Now I ask for help all of the time, I don’t wait for the hard times! In fact most times it is necessary to ask for help because Angels are deeply respectful of our free will, which is unique to humanity and an important part of our life here. Our personal investigation of truth and the Creators Will for us could not happen without free will. I personally communicate with Angels when I am in a prayerful state, a quiet mind and an open heart. When I pray I speak to God and when I meditate I listen to my spirit and to the messages delivered by the Angels. I also communicate with Angels when I am giving a reiki session to my clients. I specialize in a type of energy work that sends the powerful energy of the Angels to the client for enhancing their health and well-being. This leaves people with a greater sense of personal connection to the Divine and their purpose here. The Angels care deeply about each one of us; in fact I have been surprised that they truly are enamored by humanity. No concern or question is too small; they want to be of assistance in everyway that would be helpful. Their desire is to see each one of us experience and become who we have been created to be, noble beings, people of honor. What we perceive as shortcomings in our personality and the mistakes we make are seen by the Angels as opportunities for learning and growing. Unconditional love is given by these beautiful beings and support to live meaningful and purposeful lives as well. Remember you only have to ask!

Francie Marie
My most memorable angelic experience took place during a particularly sad and stressful time of my life. During the Christmas holidays, I was shopping in the Grass Valley/Nevada City area, spending time by myself. I needed answers about my life. I went into a shop, saw a deck of angel cards displayed and as I reached up one fell to the floor, giving me the answers I needed. I bought the cards and booklet began using them and asking for help. Since then, the angels have guided, inspired and protected me in my life as an Angel Reader and teacher. Angels have raised my spiritual consciousness, made me aware of my abilities and given me a new sense of direction. You do not need to have a special ability to receive guidance from your angels. My first step in communicating with them was to trust, ask for help, and be willing to receive and follow their guidance. Angels can communicate to us in a myriad of ways that are personal to each individual. This could be through channeled writing, music, mediation, cards, dreams, numbers, etc. Their answers will come to you through your feelings, thoughts, visions, and/or an inner voice. These messages will usually be subtle, so always watch for repetitious signs, synchronicities, and inner senses. The angels want us to hear that as we release the fear that blocks us from receiving and recognizing messages from them, we will be better able to feel love for ourselves, others, and for the world we live in. In these times of war and terrorist attacks, our interest in finding a spiritual path has increased. Many people are looking for a higher meaning in life. With angelic guidance, our thoughts become more positive and we spend more time thinking about what we want rather then what we do not want to have happen in our lives. They want us to know our lives have meaning, direction, and purpose. Do not wait for a time of crisis or sorrow before invoking them. Invite them to become a part of your life every day.
