When will they write "Chicken Soup for the Chicken Soul"?
If you wonder what’s cooking, it’s you. It’s the you that you thought you were. It’s the you that you believed you were. It’s the soul that you faithed and willed that you were.
The mind and will are dancing with soul and faith. Notice that soul and faith are simply the higher octave of mind and will. Mind and will are the agents of soul and faith. Faith and Reason are the same thing. They have apparently different blind spots; they are apparently each other’s blind spot. You are your presence and nothing else. You are not your soul no more than you are your body. You are not your mind no more than you are your karma.
What could you be taught? What if there is nothing to learn? Will doctrine cure your ailin’? Is your mind made up? Is your faith down right? Do you know what you know or does what you know know you? Who’s storing the mind?
From where do questions come? To where do answers go? Perceive the endless round about. There is a lot of frustration in the air. People are sick and tired of being sick and tired and they’re not going to take it anymore; instead they’ll tend to give it a way. Witness this tendency to dump, to trash, to rubbish each other the wrong way. If your life feels like a waste, look what you let in. Change is not freedom. Be aware of the many changers in the temple.
Do you believe that altering a bit of the surface mind, that pinnacle of the iceberg, could transform the mass momentum of your karma? Burn the iceberg at both ends. Give up seeking change. Give up new and old beliefs. Your bright presence liquidates the karmic directions. You’re done freezing your assets. Now melt into your being.
