Throw A Peace Party

I write this article/email as a very personal attempt to offer a potential solution to fear and war. I genuinely hope it has some meaning for you, and generates heartfelt discussion.
The current threat of war with Iraq has caused me to think of things I can do to foster peace. This weekend I had planned to attend a peace rally in Sacramento, California, about an hour’s drive from my home. Here I hoped to be among a large group of people who our government and the media would see and realize that a majority of the country wants a peaceful solution to this crisis.
Then the weather forecast called for rain. And I imagined myself at this peace rally feeling anything but peaceful. If I had to stand for five hours in the rain, I’d be projecting irritation and thoughts that were less than harmonious or at peace. So I decided to have a “peace” party. I would invite a few close friends who shared my interest in looking for a peaceful solution to war, and we would collectively pray, have fun, and radiate out energy of joy and peace.
I have learned in my study and work that the mind clearly influences the body and behavior. The placebo effect is a clear example of this. Having a strong “will to live” is another. We all know the common sense: “When you’re busy doing what you like, you forget your aches and pains.”
Thought is an energy. A definition of the placebo effect is that your beliefs alone can create a change (in the same way that “sugar pills” can be as effective as an actual medication).
Your thoughts are not contained in your body. They radiate out from you and can actually influence the physiology of someone else. This has been demonstrated conclusively through research, including the Heart Math research and numbers of studies with prayer and psi phenomena.
So, by having a “peace” party, I thought that our prayers of peace and our having fun, would be an effective counter to thoughts of war. The “positive” energy we generated would neutralize the “negative” energy of fear and anger.
On Thursday (Valentine’s Day) I phoned my sister to say “hi”. She lives in Arlington, Virginia, across the Potomac River from Georgetown and Washington, D.C. and I told her about my thoughts to have this “peace” party, and opt out of participating in a rainy peace rally. Then she began to tell me that people in her area were going berserk, buying every roll of duct tape and plastic sheeting from Costco and Home Depot. They were going to tape up their homes to protect them from what they thought was an imminent chemical terrorist attack!
I hadn’t known then that earlier that week the government had warned that the terrorist threat had risen to the point that people should now take direct steps to protect themselves and their families. Indeed, that day there were pictures of shoppers buying duct tape and potassium iodine pills on THE FRONT PAGE of the New York Times! USA Today reported the same information on their front page as well: “It’s a weekend for sealing windows with plastic and duct tape, for wondering whether the briefcase across the aisle holds a bomb, for sitting down with the family to plan for the unplannable.”
And here I am thinking about how thought is an energy, and what we don’t want to do is be radiating out thoughts of negativity and fear. It’s going to take one heck of a “peace” party to overcome this mass hysteria!
It makes great sense to take appropriate measures to feel safe and protected. But to do it in a way that increases a sense of fear is exactly what we DON’T want to do. An energy of fear only feeds the very condition that we want to avoid.
At this time I want to reveal a very personal experience of mine to help me emphasize this point. I have a good friend, Tonya Kraft, who is a Reiki healer, and for many months we “traded” therapies. She would give me Reiki treatments, and I would practice interactive imagery with her. In interactive imagery you get in touch with less conscious parts of yourself in order to understand and improve areas of concern.
From the very beginning, Tonya would “channel” a wisdom that I had become very familiar with due to my many years of experience working with Ken McCaulley, which I talk about in my book, Doctor’s Orders: Go Fishing. Tonya and I were being given guidance by “very high energy beings” who claimed to be sent by God. (This is similar to the experience Brian Weiss had and reported in his book, Many Lives, Many Masters).
I know that some of you who read this could well be offended by my experience and belief in God or in the ability of everyone to access God by other than conventional religious practices. My interest here is to relay the information given to me through Tonya as a way to help us at this time when our government is pushing us closer to war.
Interestingly, Tonya and I worked together on September 11, 2001, and we have the transcript from that session (We have transcripts of all of our sessions). However, I want to cite some passages from our session dated 9/21/01 (Tonya has granted permission to use her name and to print this information):
Your planet is in need of healing. You know that. Anything you can do to help in the healing will be worthwhile. But the terror on this planet right now has caused alarm. We know that. We have told you that we cry with you, we mourn with you, we grieve with you. But time will lessen that. What will come out of this will be the greatest spiritual truth that man has ever seen. You will either find the light, or you will stay with the dark. We tell you right now that there will be no purpose in staying in the dark, staying in fear. It is certainly not what will move you forward.
The universe, which is changing so rapidly, is ever moving higher and higher into the upper vibrations of light and truth. Find that peace within you, find that calmness, and show that to all of those around you, and help them find their own peace. We know that this will not be easy. We know that there will be much, much more fear that will come out: the fear through your media, the fear through your leaders. But stand your own ground and stand in your own truth as light beings. And you will anchor that light ever further. And the energies will grow and grow amongst all of you, anchoring it, and it will spread throughout your world. Never doubt that you have the power to make major, major change. All it takes is one who has the light, who can connect it to the next one with the light. That forms a beautiful grid all the way around your planet. It will be a net that will be cast far and wide: a net of light and truth that will be the basis of love that comes from the universe and God.…
There has always been a war on your planet since it’s existence. Some times you may need to turn off the words that are coming at you: Turn off your televisions; turn off your radios. You will not be hiding your head in the sand, but you will be coming then from a place of peace and calmness. Send your light all across your world. Surround your planet with light that will heal. Send it into those people who you know are responsible for what has happened. Send that light into the country that harbors these people. We cannot emphasize enough that your thought has energy, and that the color of light has energy that can purify and release all blackness. It is why people have been told this; seers have been told this for many, many years. This is the way to protect yourself; this is the way to clear out energies. Scientists will study this further in the coming years and someday it will be known truth: that which you all have experienced over time.
Then I asked about the Heart Math Solution book and the idea that you can entrain others through emotions, and about “light melting the dark, and love melting fear.” How does it happen? Because we are all One? How is it that love can change fear: by projecting our love rather than participating in violence? By sending this light?
This was the response:
You know about vibrational frequency: Your body vibrates at a particular electrical current, for you are all electrical bodies. When you are vibrating as a single person, you are sending out concentric circles that look like coils all around your body. They radiate out into the world, onto your planet, into your universe. Now, when you are a being radiating out hatred and fear, that is another vibratory frequency. That is not in tune with the love vibrational frequency. It has its own frequency.
So, when you have many, many people (the terrorists, for example) who are radiating the fear frequency/ vibration. And now you’ve got many other people who don’t know this frequency. They are wanting to vibrate out the love frequency, but they are full of fear as well, especially as you hear talk about war. You can see the hatred on the faces of the men who perpetuated the crime. That means that there are many different vibratory frequencies being radiated out onto your planet at this time. There are those with very, very low vibration, there are those with very, very high vibration, and then all the different vibratory frequencies in between.
If you can get enough people on your planet to radiate out the vibratory frequency of love, which is an extremely high vibration. It is also the vibration of truth, harmony, justice and God. The moment you can get more folks to radiate out the frequency, imagine all the concentric circles, radiating and growing out, farther and farther all about your planet. In essence then, what can happen is that those beings who aren’t quite sure which direction to go, which frequency to move from, you then help to entrain them to come “up” to your vibrational frequency of light and love.
Now, there are those who are going to stay in the lower vibrations of hatred. They aren’t going to make the change as we have said before. You cannot change everyone on your planet. So you’ve got the lower vibratory frequencies; however, you’ve got more and more vibrations that are radiating love, and harmony, essentially that will cast out the dark. It will almost, as you say, override it, because all these higher vibration frequencies are going to join, become a network. So as that goes all around your planet (think of it as a grid – as Kryon talks about the magnetic grid), this is a grid of love. It’s a grid of very, very high vibration and frequency as we have said, and it forms almost like a honeybee pattern…if you can think of that. It will encircle around your globe, encompass it. Then the darker vibrations and frequencies are going to be at a lower rate. It will be underneath this honeycomb of light.
And essentially what happens is – it’s gone. Because light has totally encased it. Does that make sense?
I responded that I appreciated the information given, but that I was still having difficulty: How does love overcome fear unless it becomes more dominant and entrains the other to become more like it?
Not only can it entrain, but it actually will cast out. It will snuff out. Think of it as water on a fire. The fire is burning very low, right? It’s got red hot embers. In an imaginary way, you can see the fire and embers burning lower to the core of earth. Correct? OK. Alright, if you can think of love as light being higher than that lower heat, which is starting to churn, boil…what that light essentially does is circle around those burning embers and removes the oxygen from it so that it cannot live. And as it removes the oxygen, it essentially then snuffs it out.
So, it’s like a cloak…a cloak of energy that is stronger and more powerful than that which is burning and living at a very low rate. It encompasses it, it encircles it, and it snuffs it out. It removes the oxygen and life from it. It will then have no energy to keep growing. Your scientists are doing work with this right now. And the more and more interest that comes to this area, the more curiosity it arouses, the more study that is done, will help to bring it forward on a physics basis that you can understand better.
We know that it’s difficult for you to understand frequencies in energetic ways. It’s about the best we can help you understand at this point…..
As all of you have heard many times: The dark forces, the energy of the dark forces, feed on the energy of humans, their emotions, their fears. And that is why your dark energy will try to overtake people. We use that word loosely. What they are doing is feeding on the energies that are coming from you. Feeding on your fears, because your fear has another energetic, vibratory rate. And these dark force energies need something to keep them going, correct? Because they must find that oxygen of which we speak to you, within the universe, rather than oxygen of humankind life force energy. It is the universal energy that keeps all spirit living.
So, these dark forces feed on fear, feed on confusion…and they get their life that way. Now, if there was no fear, then the dark energy would find nothing to feed on, would they? (because the vibration of love, the vibration that is filled with the light from the God within this universe, is such a higher vibratory rate). Again, it is lighter; it surrounds the dark. And if there is no fear left to feed upon, then the dark energy must die out. It cannot exist. That is why we keep trying to tell all of you, even in the face of this trauma and tragedy that you’re living within right now: If you can find that moment and place of peace and calm and love, and spread that light out, you are spreading a higher life force energy vibration that will circle your planet, come back down and essentially is able to wipe out that which feeds through the dark.
I commented: “Right, and while prayer will project that energy, another way is to “go fishing”: Live that joy and peace. We can consciously send the love, or we can live it”.
Correct. Because if your physical bodies, are vibrating at a higher rate, not only will you find health – physical health – you will also find the joy, the harmony and peace – the light. Essentially, you are like little flames, walking all around your earth. You are sending out such a high vibration, that again, you form a network grid pattern. And all of that will connect you…throughout the planet, throughout the universe. And the dark cannot find a place to live within that kind of a system.
