Energy – it is what we are all made of, it is all around us, it is both your physical body and your esoteric body.  You might be able to feel, see or sense the energy around you – you know, those moments you feel in concert with someone or those moments where you think – I better get out of here, things are not good!  That’s energy at work for you.  The more you tune in, the more you can sense your energy field. Can you explain the energy system around our physical bodies?

It’s like explaining ice to liquid to steam to invisible but felt humidity. It's all water, but in different forms. In the dimensions of "energy", energy too changes forms and goes from the density of the physical body to a finer etheric field, about an inch in depth all around our physical body to an even finer energy often referred to as the emotional energy body, usually a foot or so around the body, to an even finer very subtle energy often referred to as the mental energy body. And on and on it keeps going, finer and finer.  Everything IS energy.  We all feel it, without thinking about it. Remember standing in an elevator wishing you could move further away from someone, when there was no more room to move?  Some people can see energy or aura's.  Different cultures, past and present, Metaphysics, Quantum physics, the mystical side of all religions, all refer to energy but use different words.  Acupuncture meridians, Homeopathic medicine, Reiki and other energy medicines work at the energetic levels.  There are many systems and many methods, tools, styles for working with energy. Energy work can be effective due to the skill of your practitioner, your connection with them and YOU and your capacity to open, expand, receive, trust and love yourself.

What changes have you seen with your clients with energy work?

Everything from "thank you, that was very nice" to "wow, I feel so light and clear" to "thank you, I feel terrific, my pain is gone!", to "Amazing – what just happened?"  I believe that as much transmitted energy as I can bring to the client will go nowhere unless the client opens up into and deeply allow the inherent wisdom of energy to do what it knows how to do. It's all about balance.

Is the western medical model beginning to accept and understand energy work?

Absolutely! From Holistic Health in the 1970's to Integrative and Complementary Medicine now, it's definitely expanding in language, understanding and action. Medical schools see it coming, Insurance companies see it coming, the public see's it coming - thanks to Oprah and others.
