Integrating Earth cycles and Astrology within us We enter the realm of tender Pisces with Sun, Venus, Jupiter, Uranus & Mercury in this graceful water sign. In Pisces we are fluid, boundary-less, loving & intuitive, able to allow the flow of life. It is associated with the 12th house, often referred to as the “house of Karma”. This house is related to our past life actions. And even more so to our current life experiences and the ways we respond. In polarity thinking we believe that what we see as “bad” things happen to us are because we have done something wrong and have to pay. Karma is really about choice-full action. Our attachment to feeling only “good” feelings may be the problem. Our experience in life can be incredibly pleasurable and deeply painful. It seems that our nature desires us to know the range of experiences. Our souls grow from these experiences. What if we have no attachment to feeling & instead allowed emotion to flow like a wave. Pain ebbs & flows, joys ebb & flow. We discover they are our teachers. Showing us who we really are, what our souls desire and what our decisions in any given moment need to be. Mercury in this watery sign can make us feel a bit fuzzy in our thinking. But if we allow the fuzziness & don’t try to control, intuitive ideas & thoughts emerge. They may be more dream-like, metaphoric. On the 10th Mars in Leo turns direct, freeing up action energy. Then on the 15th the new Moon is in Pisces. Mercury & Uranus conjunct the Sun & Moon. This is a very special New Moon. Pisces is ruled by Neptune, King of the Sea. Neptune luxuriates among treasures & jewels. Metaphorically these jewels are our unique soul truth, & the gifts that emerge when we find & live from these jewels. Also here are our addictions, fears & the ways we avoid our true beauty. Painful addictions are like our core truth, desires and needs screaming at us to come home to ourselves. Pain does not allow avoidance. Once again, we find emotions as our gateway. They are the golden cords, which lead us to the jewels. We have the possibility of accessing so much more life energy & healing than we realize. With this new moon more then ever it pays to take a “leap of faith”, spend time feeling, sensing the unknown within you. Build your emotional muscles. Uranus & Mercury may give us a big surprise, bringing unexpected insights & ideas. Our abilities to heal & let go are accelerating. On March 18th Mercury moves into Aries, taking our new ideas & giving them the power to manifest. Spring Equinox is March 20th. This is the earth-based Celtic holiday Ostara. A time for honoring the return of spring, when the seed burst’s forth, breaking free from winter. Daylight & darkness are equal. The Sun moves into Aries on March 21st. Aries is ruled by Mars and brings us self-determined action, a sweet foolish innocence, a trust in the core of self over any other authority. Like the seeds, our energy bursts forth towards our intentions. We end the month with a Libra full moon, opposing the Aries sun and squared by Pluto in Capricorn. We seek balance between unique individuality and partnership. We look to the reality of our lives for feedback about our progress. Now is the time to see things as they are, without pretending, running, avoiding. Change occurs, one focused step at a time. The small things effect the whole. No more pretenses, we are who we are in the present moment and this opens into the newness of the following moment. Thus, we re-create our lives our world and ourselves.
